Xbox PC App Becomes the Central Hub for All Your Games

Microsoft has enhanced its Xbox app for Windows, allowing users to access all their games in one place, regardless of where they were purchased. This new feature brings together titles from platforms like Steam, Battle.net, and others, making it easier to manage a digital game collection on PC.

Previously tested through the Xbox Insider program, this functionality is now available to all users. It was primarily designed for the new full-screen mode intended for handheld consoles like the Xbox Ally, but it will benefit all gamers using Windows for their gaming experience.

When a user installs a game from a supported digital store, it automatically appears in their personal library within the Xbox app. It also shows up in the “most recently played” section, enabling quick access to favorite titles with minimal effort.

In addition to games, the app now features a new section called “My Apps,” which allows users to install and launch various helpful programs. This area is designed to provide fast access to web browsers, gaming utilities, and even competing storefronts.

Further improvements are on the way later this month. Microsoft plans to introduce support for cloud-playable titles and game history tracking. This new feature will sync across all devices connected to the same account—whether it's a console, PC, or handheld device.

A new “Jump back in” section will appear on the app’s home screen, showing recently played games. This will allow users to immediately pick up where they left off without searching. With this move, Microsoft further solidifies its role as a major player in the world of PC gaming.
