Samsung is preparing a new Galaxy S26 Ultra with an even more rounded design, faster charging and improved cameras, which could make this model the most practical Ultra device to date.
More ergonomics thanks to the new design
After the Galaxy S25 Ultra abandoned sharp, square edges in favor of rounded corners, users immediately noticed better ergonomics and a more comfortable grip on the phone. With older models, such as the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra, many complained that the sharp edges cut into their palms, and the device was difficult to use with one hand.
Now the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to go a step further. According to the first rumors, all corners of the device will be additionally rounded, and the body will be thinner than ever. This could bring an even more elegant look and better feel in the hand, but also make it easier to carry the phone in your pocket.

Faster charging and more advanced cameras
Although the battery capacity remains the same – 5,000 mAh – a significant jump in charging speed is expected. Samsung is reportedly introducing support for 60W wired charging, which will allow for much faster charging of the device compared to previous models.
The main camera retains the 200MP HP2 sensor, but with a wider aperture of f/1.4 (instead of f/1.7), which means better performance in low light. An even more significant upgrade could happen to the telephoto camera, which with 3x optical zoom could go from 10MP to even 50MP, providing significantly more detailed photos.
Smarter screen for more privacy
One of the more interesting new features is the potential introduction of a “Flex Magic Pixel” OLED panel. This screen, with the help of AI, will supposedly automatically adjust the display to improve the privacy of content, especially when the user is using the phone in public.
Conclusion: Small changes that mean a lot
Although the Galaxy S26 Ultra does not differ drastically from previous models at first glance, the combination of a more rounded design, more powerful charging, advanced cameras and a smarter screen could make it one of the most practical and enjoyable Ultra models to date.
